I'm trying to convert epubs to PDF on a headless server with Calibre's ebook-convert. Because the server is headless I have to use xvfb to run ebook-convert for QT support. Unfortunately there is quite a difference between the PDF's generated on a desktop Ubuntu system vs the headless server.
The PDF's generated through xvfb will have page breaks in the middle of a line of text, splitting the text between two pages. I've attached the original epub, as well as the two PDF's generated, desktop and xvfb. I've tried various output profiles and formatting settings but the issue still persists. Is there any setting that can be used to have the PDF generated with xvfb look like the desktop version?
