I have a ton of IT PDF ebooks i would like to read on my Kobo Aura One. I tried:
- Direct "Send to device" from Calibre
- Converting to EPUB with Calibre and sending it to device
- k2optpdf to convert it to PDF optimized for device and sending it to device
Of the above, the k2pdfopt output PDF looks best on the Kobo reader. Unlike default PDF, it fills the full screen so fonts are bigger. Unlike Calibre's PDF to EPUB output, it preserves the fonts, such as for code and formatting is better.
So does writing an output converter Calibre plugin for k2pdfopt make sense?
