Ok, so I am really new to this. I am used to copy/pasting data into a doc, reformatting it, saving, and then dropping it into calibre and just hitting convert to mobi. That's the extent of my coding knowledge for this program so any assistance given will need to be with that understanding. (As a note I read only in black/white so the colors here aren't errors).
Some friends translate Chinese novels and I compile them into MOBI files for personal use. I have not had any issues before doing this, but now whenever I convert the books (even if there is no formatting adding indentions to paragraphs) I will open it on Kindle and see this: https://imgur.com/a/3wnPnlJ
Could someone tell me why these marks are before each paragraph? Also, the Chinese characters are not able to be read when it could with a previous version of this file.
Using: Calibre 4.3 for Windows 10. The arrows only show on the kindle not the e-reader built in on Calibre.
Thanks!
